Craftsy gift wrap ideas


Ever wonder what to do with the stamps/envelops that your snail mail comes in? This is what I did with a pair of stamps too cute to throw out. I used it for gift wrapping! I wrapped the giftbox in brown kraft paper (you can get a decent roll for a few buck at the supermarket), stuck on my tear-off stamp/envelope bit and tied on some cotton twine (also from supermarket) to complete the look. So simple!
While I'm on topic of giftwrapping, we all know Christmas is fast approaching so here's another affordable idea. Instead of buying tons of Christmas wrapping paper (you can get really fancy ones or if you're cheap like me get the really cheap tacky ones) buy the cheap brown kraft paper I mentioned above and invest in ribbons. Of course this idea can be used for other occasions for that special unique look. Here is an example to show you:
